Who is the CCA?

The CCA serves Sacred Heart School, St. Anthony Catholic School, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Academy, and St. Thomas More Catholic AcademyThe Consortium of Catholic Academies (CCA) is a non-profit organization who is committed to delivering exceptional academic, spiritual, social - emotional, and financial support to 700+ dynamic and diverse students across four inner-city Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Washington. Each CCA school provides a safe and nurturing environment for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade boys and girls to learn, grow, and thrive. For over 25 years, the CCA's central office helps oversee financial and administrative need to allow principals to focus on supporting and guiding scholars and educators.

Celebrating the End of the School Year
-
Our CCA schools have enjoyed many fun activities as they celebrate the end of another successful school year!
Most recently, St. Anthony Catholic School held its Field Day at The Catholic University of America, while Sacred Heart School celebrated with a Field Day at Hains Point Park!
St. Thomas More Catholic Academy marked the end of the year with a Paint Party, where Mr. Wills, CCA’s art teacher, taught students about different brushstroke techniques. Together, they created beautiful sunset paintings!
Meanwhile, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Academy celebrated its annual Community Day at St. Francis Xavier! The event was filled with joy and excitement as students enjoyed a lemonade stand, a delicious food truck, a performance by the DCMPD band Side by Side, and a dance performance by local clowns!
